Dry hydrant Inspection

Twin Ponds Complex

Dry hydrants are used to retrieve water from a water source like a pond to be use to fight fires. The inspection has to be done with underwater diving equipment. The inspection is done to see what the condition of the pipe

is and the area around the bottom of the pipe.

This inspection couldn't be completed due to the large amounts of vegetation in the pond making access very difficult.
